What is FDA?

The Food and Drug Administration is the oldest comprehensive consumer protection agency in the U. S. federal government. It is responsible for protecting the public health by assuring the safety, effectiveness, quality, and security of human and veterinary drugs, vaccines and other biological products, and medical devices.

Q & A:

  • How long it takes for finishing lab testing? Can it be expedited?

The normal testing time is 5 working days. If the report is urgently needed, please inform our customer service team when you place an order with us.

  • Do ceramic products have to be tested with 6 pieces?

Yes. According to the American standard, the average value of 6 samples needs to be taken.

  • Is it difficult for PP pellets to pass the test?

FDA 177.1520 originally applies to the resin material. If mineral fillers (calcium carbonate, glass fiber, etc.) are added to the raw resin, the density and melting point will inevitably change, so it is easy to fail. It is recommended to send the original resin without mineral material and coloring agent for testing.
